AbstractAbstract: Microbial technology as a kind of biotechnology, has a good improvement effect on the performance of building materials and a very large repair effect especially on concrete. From the perspective of biotechnology, the urease produced by microbial metabolism is applied to the formation of calcium carbonate to study its repair effect on building materials - concrete cracks, and its influence on the marketing of building materials. The results show that the microbial induced calcium carbonate can be used to repair the concrete cracks and have good impermeability, and can promote the marketing of building materials.
