Abstract:
In cities, outdoor activity spaces carry the daily lives of most residents, and children are the main users of outdoor spaces. The quality of the outdoor environment has a certain impact on children's safety, development, and interest development. This project will be launched at two levels: Guangzhou City and specific communities. Through online questionnaires, we will collect relevant information about children and parents in Wuhan communities, and summarize children’s outdoor activity spaces in the community, activity types, children’s desire for activity venues, Parents’ evaluation and demand for outdoor activity space in the community. In traditional communities, due to the large number of streets and alleys, social security is poor, and the environment and sanitary environment are poor. In view of the current preferences and needs of urban residents in my country for outdoor activities, as well as the outstanding problems existing in the current communities, relevant optimization suggestions are given, laying the foundation for case studies of different types of communities.
