Abstract:

The present research aimed to assess the benefits of information technology in healthcare finance and accounting. The researcher assessed the impact of mission and consistency on information system outcomes with the mediators of adaptability and cybersecurity. For this purpose, the researcher implemented a “quantitative research design.” Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed through SPSS. Results demonstrated that MS insignificantly impacts ISO, whereas CCY exerts a significant impact on the ISO. The mediating role of Cybersecurity and adaptability has been observed to be significant. The present research holds various theoretical and practical implications. The study extends the growing body of literature regarding information security outcomes in healthcare finance and accounting. Practically, this research provides valuable insights regarding the benefits of information technology in accounting and healthcare finance. The research limitations and future research indications have also been addressed in the study.
