Abstract:
The incorporation of AI in the biomedical industry has greatly boosted the process of development of biotechnological solutions; including identification, creation, and implementation of new solutions. This paper aims to understand how AI solves the constraints that are common with biotech firms like high expenses, time-consuming processes and convoluted research. As such, technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and data analytics have improved different processes in biotechnology development, including discovery of drugs and genomics, precision medicines, and diagnostics. Growing applications of AI in areas such as bioinformatics and predictive modelling have made experiments more efficient, and scaled up resulting biotechnological products. Also, AI has made it possible to discover new biomarkers, design trials, and advance the manufacturing technique. However, the problem of data privacy, legal requirements, and interdisciplinary cooperation poses significant potential barriers to unlocking the potential of AI solutions in biotech growth at scale. The paper concludes by arguing that AI can revolutionaries’ biotechnology and future growth in the industry in equal measure.
