Abstract:

For biotechnology enterprises, which play a critical role in advancing sustainable development, green innovation has become an essential strategy for aligning business practices with environmental goals. This study constructs a green innovation efficiency evaluation model tailored for biotechnology enterprises, leveraging big data analytics to provide comprehensive insights. The model is developed within the framework of the two-stage innovation value chain theory, incorporating three waste management investment indicators to assess green innovation efficiency. This study underscores the critical role of technological innovation in promoting a low-carbon economy, particularly for biotechnology enterprises. By advancing green innovation, these enterprises can significantly reduce energy consumption and contribute to broader environmental and economic sustainability. The proposed evaluation model provides a practical tool for assessing and enhancing green innovation efficiency, offering valuable insights for policymakers and enterprise leaders seeking to drive sustainable growth in the biotechnology sector.
