Abstract:

This paper explores the construction of an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation system that integrates green finance with biotechnology to advance rural innovation and entrepreneurship. The integration of biotechnology into green finance strategies enhances the ability to evaluate and improve the environmental and social performance of rural entrepreneurial projects. Biotechnology, through its applications in environmental monitoring, ecological restoration, and sustainable resource management, provides precise and actionable data for ESG evaluation. Green finance, in turn, uses ESG metrics to optimize investment decisions, reduce capital costs, and support projects with high sustainability potential. This synergistic approach not only guides rural entrepreneurs in aligning their projects with sustainable development goals but also enables investors to identify and support innovative ventures that address pressing environmental and social challenges. The research results demonstrate that the integration of biotechnology within the ESG framework significantly enhances ecological innovation, with an improvement rate of 14.97%. This integrated evaluation system provides a comprehensive and scalable methodology for assessing the sustainability of rural innovation and entrepreneurship projects. By leveraging biotechnology and green finance, this system promotes resource efficiency, reduces environmental risks, and fosters rural revitalization. The findings of this study highlight the transformative potential of aligning biotechnological innovation with green financial practices, offering a viable pathway for achieving sustainable development in diverse rural contexts. The proposed ESG evaluation system can serve as a blueprint for future policy-making, investment strategies, and entrepreneurial practices aimed at advancing ecological, social, and economic sustainability.
