Abstract:

In the context of the rapid development of the biotechnology industry, enterprise mergers and acquisitions have become an important strategic means to enhance core competitiveness and achieve resource integration. The extensive application of big data technology provides data support and decision-making basis for enterprise mergers and acquisitions, while the accurate identification and improvement of core competitiveness is the key to the success of mergers and acquisitions. Many of the prevalent methods used to evaluate the success of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) today begin with money, which is a severely limited perspective. M&A are significantly influenced by the emergence of big data technology alongside the proliferation of modern IT. We must now investigate how to improve the progress of biotechnology corporate M&A in the context of big data, but big data as a cutting-edge technology also necessitates the use of its ingenuity. This paper examines the strategic mode of biotechnology corporate M&A in relation to big data technology and core competitiveness in an ecological context. This paper analyzes the factors that affect an enterprise's M&A performance and develops an evaluation index system based on the dimensions of core competitiveness, enterprise customer relationship management, and internal control from the perspective of empirical research. This paper concludes by proposing countermeasures that can serve as a reference and source of motivation for the use of big data in biotechnology corporate acquisitions.
