Abstract:
Digital transformation has emerged as a core strategy for enterprises in the digital economy era, with synergistic innovation between cloud platforms and big data serving as a critical driving force. This study integrates the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and dynamic capability theory to construct a theoretical model that elucidates how cloud platform-enabled big data application innovation drives enterprise digital transformation. A multi-case study approach is adopted to uncover the operational pathways. Key findings include: 1) Cloud platforms reduce technical barriers to big data adoption through three core capabilities—elastic computing power, data integration, and open ecosystems; 2) Big data application innovation facilitates business model upgrading via a three-phase process: "data insight ? process reengineering ? value creation"; 3) The digital transformation pathway follows a progressive logic of "technology adaptation ? organizational transformation ? ecosystem collaboration". The research provides a theoretical foundation and practical implications for optimizing enterprise digital transformation strategies.
