Abstract:

In a diverse context, the themes and styles of public art have also become more diverse, ranging from images and sculptures to digital and interactive forms. These works both inject infinite aesthetic vitality into public space and become the embodiment of modern culture and civilisation. Based on this, this paper, by elaborating on the concept and development of public art, conveys that diversity is the key to the development of public art, and digs deeper into the use of diverse visual and sensory spatial experiences, making the direction of the development of public art in a diverse context more clear. At the same time, public art also needs to keep pace with technological development, using digital technology and new media means to create and display, improve public participation and artistic expression, so that public art can become a symbol of the city's cultural confidence, with the goal of creating more inherited and innovative urban public art.
