Abstract:

This paper expands on the application of big data statistics and building information modeling (BIM) technology to engineering projects (as exemplified by university infrastructure projects) by focusing specifically on audits of infrastructure projects. It provides an in-depth analysis of the strengths and weaknesses associated with the development of these projects, while addressing the inherent problems that often arise throughout their lifecycle. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of implementing comprehensive process tracking audits for capital projects. Such audits are essential for effective prevention and control of audit risks, as well as for improving audit efficiency and audit quality. Ultimately, this study proposes a new and innovative audit concept to address the complexity of modern infrastructure projects.
