Abstract:
Based on the sample data of China's A-share listed airlines from 2010 to 2023, this study empirically examines the impact and mechanism of the development of enterprise's new-quality productivity on the level of civil aviation safety. The research results show that the development of enterprise's new-quality productivity has a significant positive effect on the improvement of aviation safety. In addition, the results of the mechanism test indicate that the degree of digital transformation and internal control both play a partial mediating role between new-quality productivity and aviation safety. New-quality productivity can further promote the optimization of safety management and risk prevention and control by advancing the process of digital transformation and strengthening internal control. The results of the heterogeneity analysis show that the development of new-quality productivity has a more significant promoting effect on the safety of airlines with smaller scale and higher degree of marketization. Therefore, in order to promote the sustainable development of the aviation industry, it is recommended that airlines strengthen their innovation strategies, improve internal control and risk management, build an intelligent safety system, and implement a differentiated safety management strategy to ensure stable and safe operations.
