Abstract:

The integration of curriculum ideological and political education (CIPE) into medical education is crucial for cultivating moral, socially responsible, and professionally competent healthcare practitioners. With the rapid advancement of educational technology, knowledge graphs have emerged as a powerful tool for enhancing both ideological and political education, as well as improving teaching evaluation in foundational medical courses. This review explores the application and value realization of knowledge graphs in structuring medical knowledge, embedding ideological and political elements, and refining teaching assessment methods. By enabling semantic representation and interconnected knowledge structures, knowledge graphs facilitate the seamless integration of medical morals, professionalism, and social responsibility into medical curricula. It enhances students' cognitive understanding and encourages interdisciplinary learning by mapping connections between medical concepts and ideological principles. Furthermore, knowledge graphs support intelligent learning systems, enabling automated knowledge retrieval, personalized learning pathways, and adaptive teaching strategies. In the realm of teaching evaluation, knowledge graphs contribute to intelligent analysis, allowing for decision-making, real-time feedback, and customized learning recommendations. The application enhances student performance assessment and optimizes teaching effectiveness, helping educators identify learning gaps and refine instructional strategies. By utilizing knowledge graphs, medical education can significantly enhance the efficacy of CIPE, improve teaching quality, and foster the development of medical professionals with strong moral foundations and critical thinking skills.
