Abstract:

As the concept of sustainable development becomes more and more popular, green innovation has become the vital driving force for enterprise development. This study proposes a new enterprise green innovation capability evaluation model based on the XGBoost algorithm, and verifies the effectiveness of the model through empirical analysis of Chinese enterprises in different industries. Research shows that the XGBoost model can accurately identify key factors that affect an enterprise's green innovation capabilities, such as R&D investment, environmental protection policy support, green technology application, etc. Compared with traditional qualitative analysis methods, the XGBoost model has significant advantages in processing complex data and non-linear relationships, providing more accurate green innovation capability assessment. This study can provide scientific decision-making basis for firms and governments, help improve green innovation capabilities, and promote sustainable development of enterprises.
