Development and Evaluation of a Coupled Collaborative Model for Agricultural Modernization and Informatization: Biotechnological Perspectives for Sustainable Growth in China

Abstract

At present, with the improvement of China's economic development level, China's agricultural industry has also begun to actively transform. The general direction of China's agricultural development is to realize the coordinated development of agricultural modernization and information technology. Based on this realistic background, this study chooses the relevant data of China's agricultural modernization and informatization development from 2002 to 2021 as the research basis to carry out the research. Firstly, the development level of agricultural modernization and informatization in China was calculated, and then a coupled collaborative model was built to evaluate the level of their collaborative development. Further, the Tobit model was used to analyze the influencing factors. The results show that: 1. During 2002-2021, the level of agricultural modernization and informatization in China presents a synergistic rising trend. In 2021, the two are at a similar level, but generally speaking, the development level of agricultural informatization is lagging behind that of agricultural modernization. 2. The degree of coupling synergy between the two shows an upward trend, and basically achieves a good state of synergy in 2021. China as a whole still has a large space for collaborative development; 3. The information industry development index, education index, mobile device ownership index, education investment expenditure index and the degree of decoupling and synergy of the two selected by the research show a relatively obvious relationship with the trend change, and the industrial structure index and per capita information business expenditure index show a relatively obvious reverse trend change relationship. It shows that the level of rural modernization and informatization is also closely related to the construction of local rural economic infrastructure and information infrastructure. On the basis of relevant analysis conclusions, this paper puts forward development suggestions from four aspects, in order to further promote the high-quality collaborative development of rural modernization and informatization.
