This study explores the innovative application of digital health concepts within college English education, developing a model that integrates these concepts to enhance language learning outcomes. By examining the role of digital health in augmenting student engagement and proficiency in English, this paper proposes a strategic teaching model tailored for higher education settings. The research assesses the current level of digital health literacy among students and evaluates English teachers' competencies in implementing digital health-driven teaching methods. Furthermore, it analyzes the factors influencing the development of digital health literacy, emphasizing the critical role of teacher competencies in creating digital health scenarios and inspiring classroom interactions. The findings indicate that English teachers possess a moderate to high competency in implementing digital health concepts, with average scores reflecting strong abilities to create immersive digital health educational environments and inspire students effectively. The results suggest a successful penetration of digital health strategies in English teaching at the collegiate level, underscoring the potential for broader application and development of digital health methodologies in educational frameworks. This study not only contributes to the academic discourse on digital health integration into language teaching but also offers practical insights for enhancing educational practices through biotechnological innovations.
