This study explores the impact of school-enterprise partnerships in the biotechnology sector on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among college students, particularly within the "big health" domain. It assesses students’ understanding of the biotech health industry, their entrepreneurial aspirations, and their engagement with relevant extracurricular activities that enhance these goals. The research emphasizes an educational model that integrates diverse resources and corporate involvement to deliver a more industry-relevant curriculum. This approach allows students to interact directly with biotechnology professionals and gain insights into the latest developments and commercial opportunities in the field. The findings indicate a significant approval rating for this innovative educational model, with 40% of students and 38% of instructors expressing high satisfaction. Conversely, only 10% reported dissatisfaction, underscoring the effectiveness of integrating real-world business experiences into academic settings. The collaboration not only aligns with the universities’ mission to meet societal needs through producing skilled professionals but also supports the rapid advancement of the biomedical health industry by bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications. This model demonstrates a successful synergy between educational institutions and the biotechnology business sector, suggesting a scalable strategy for developing future leaders in biotechnology.
