In order to strengthen the level of information management in student mental health, this paper investigates the types of student information management under biometric technology by analyzing the application scope of information technology. A multimodal biometric information management platform is constructed using biometrics. By analyzing the means of informatization management, we combine scientific management methods as well as the Nolan stage model to analyze the mental health condition of students. By analyzing the current situation of student information management work, the problems of student information management in colleges and universities are explored, and corresponding optimization strategies are proposed by combining data analysis. The results show that the information management work of students in colleges and universities needs to strengthen the management platform. In 30% of the cases, the network is interrupted and 35% of the system will be crashed if students visit too many times. In the university information management platform, 50% of the messages and notifications from teachers and the university are released through the information management platform. This study provides an effective reference for promoting student information management.
