Abstract

This study explores the application of digital health technologies in intercultural education for international students in China, constructing a model based on ecological and systemic theories. The model examines the integration of digital health tools and intercultural education, focusing on how these technologies empower participants and influence their interactions within a cross-cultural educational setting. We analyze how digital health platforms can facilitate better understanding and management of health among international students through enhanced teacher-student, student-student, and group interactions. Preliminary findings indicate that 51.89% of students recognize the benefits of such classes in broadening their knowledge and perspectives. Statistical analysis reveals a significant correlation (r=0.445, p<0.002) between respect for cultural differences and confidence in interaction, suggesting that digital health tools can play a crucial role in enhancing these dynamics. Further, the adaptation of international students to socio-cultural norms shows a promising trend (p=0.026), with academic adaptation scoring an average of 4.22. The standard deviation in adapting to the pace of life was 1.071, indicating varied but generally positive responses. The paper proposes targeted strategies for integrating digital health into intercultural education programs, aiming to attract more international students and promote the global dissemination of Chinese cultural values through advanced biotechnological tools.
