Investigating the Implementation of Synthetic Biology Curricula in Higher Education Within the Framework of Public Health Communities

This paper analyzes the interpretable framework of human health community, discusses the technology path of synthetic biology, and gives the correlation between synthetic biology and human health security. In order to make synthetic biology technology better promote the development of human health, starting from the teaching of synthetic biology courses in colleges and universities, the OBE concept is utilized for the construction of course teaching mode. In order to verify the effectiveness of the OBE concept in improving the synthetic biology courses in colleges and universities, an empirical analysis was conducted through the teaching experiment method. The results show that practical teaching using the OBE concept can effectively enhance students’ knowledge of the nature of synthetic biology technology, and its Sig. value is 0.024, which is less than 0.05, with a significant difference. Teaching synthetic biology courses through the OBE concept can enhance students’ cognition of synthetic biology technology and provide effective talent support for bridging the gap between synthetic biology technology and human health.
