Abstract

This study delves into the synergistic relationship between life health principles and physical education within higher education institutions, analyzing how these disciplines can coalesce to promote ecological balance and holistic student development. The research explores the nurturing value of physical education and clarifies its current positioning and potential developmental trajectories in the context of global life health objectives. By examining the integration of ecological balance with physical education curricula, the paper identifies commonalities between life health principles and the goals of collegiate physical education. A detailed analysis of the development status of physical education in lesser-known universities helps highlight areas in need of optimization. The study proposes strategic reforms aimed at repositioning physical education to better align with ecological and health-centric educational paradigms. Empirical results from the implementation of these reforms indicate significant improvements in the role and perception of physical education within the academic community. Notably, the allocation of class time for physical education increased to 80%, with its popularity rising by 20%. The reforms led to a richer and more diverse physical education curriculum, which subsequently enhanced the appeal and practical application of physical education, registering high engagement levels (interestingness at 60%) and practical implementation (80%). This research advocates for a transformative approach to physical education in colleges and universities, promoting it as a pivotal component of a comprehensive educational strategy that aligns with global health and ecological sustainability goals. By integrating biotechnological insights into physical education, this study contributes valuable perspectives on evolving educational practices to foster a healthier, more sustainable future.
