Integrating Digital Health Innovations into Fine Arts and Art Design: Strategies for Commercial Biotechnology Applications

This study explores the integration of digital health concepts into the teaching processes of fine arts and art design, particularly in the production of animations, graphics, and creative advertising, to enhance mental health awareness and artistic quality among students. By incorporating digital health strategies, this paper proposes an optimization strategy for art design education, focusing on three distinct areas: cartoons, traditional Chinese teaching forms, and psychological drawing tests. These approaches aim to center digital health concepts at the core of art and design curricula. The methodology involves a detailed analysis of the psychological states of art and art design students, using statistical tools to evaluate the impact of digital health-focused art education on student outcomes. The experimental design assesses changes in empathy, interpersonal skills, and psychological symptomatology among students engaged in an art appreciation course integrating digital health principles. Results indicate that while there was no statistically significant change in self-assessed psychological symptoms pre- and post-course (P>0.05), notable improvements were observed in empathy and interpersonal skills (P<0.05). Further analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between students' psychological symptoms and perceived emotional warmth and understanding from parents, as well as with mature psychological coping mechanisms. Conversely, there was a significant negative correlation between students' psychological symptoms and less developed coping strategies. This research underscores the potential of digital health concepts to enrich art design education by promoting psychological well-being and enhancing interpersonal skills. The findings suggest that integrating these health-focused strategies within the arts curriculum can lead to significant benefits in student mental health and professional readiness, offering a valuable model for incorporating biotechnological innovations into educational frameworks.
