Leveraging Bionic AR Technology for Enhanced Audience Engagement in Animated Films: A Study on Aesthetics and Viewer Intention

This paper investigates the bionic technology of vision and eye movement, which can be used in the field of AR to derive bionic AR technology. It explores the interactive audio-visual mode in bionic AR technology, which has a driving effect on animated movies. Through the study of aesthetic representation and perception of animated movies, it is found that the audience has a high demand for visual culture consumption. Meanwhile, the audience psychology of animated movie viewers is explored, and the audience orientation of animated movies is changing. Therefore, the intention and production of animated movies should meet the needs of the audience. The aesthetic intention demand factor measurement system is designed to analyze the demand characteristics of the aesthetic constituents of animated films and the trend of animated films under the demand perspective respectively. According to the survey data, the aesthetic factor of “simple and close-to-life characters” scored 3.75, which was well received by the audience. Parent-child animation series contribute 30% of the box office with 25% of the number of animation series, and the peak of animated movie box office can reach 2.6 billion. Therefore, the aesthetics and intention of animated films should be oriented to the needs of the audience, and form a domestic animated film style that is loved by the audience.
