Abstract

Previous studies have suggested that a firm can enhance its performance through effective resource allocation, proactive collaboration and commercialization. However, the contribution of the three factors has not been extensively studied in a single study. This research examines the influence of resource allocation quality on biotechnology venture performance in Switzerland. Data for this study were collected through a quantitative survey-based method. Middle and top-management employees were targeted, and a sample of 316 respondents was received. As estimated, the study's findings revealed a significant linkage between resource allocation quality and biotech ventures. Furthermore, commercialization and collaboration are significant moderators of the relationship between resource allocation quality and biotech ventures.
