Abstract

The "double carbon" strategy has catalyzed transformative advancements in building materials, creating new opportunities for innovation and sustainability. This study explores integrating research outcomes into teaching practices for building materials experimental courses, aligning with sustainable development and carbon neutrality goals. Drawing on the teaching practices at our institution, a practical framework was developed to convert cutting-edge research findings into innovative experimental teaching resources. This approach emphasizes fostering low-carbon awareness, enhancing scientific literacy, and cultivating students' independent innovation and interdisciplinary integration capabilities. By equipping students with these skills, the method supports the development of versatile, high-quality talents capable of addressing the demands of major strategic initiatives. The findings underscore the importance of aligning educational practices with sustainability goals to create a skilled workforce to drive innovation in commercial biotechnology and beyond.
