Do leadership styles and behaviors influence and encourage organizational ambidexterity in US biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms?

The present research seeks to analyze the organizational ambidexterity in the US biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms through transactional leadership, transformation leadership and employee’s dynamic capabilities. Mediation of organizational culture has also been observed in this regard. To conduct this research, a quantitative research methodology has been implemented. Data has been collected through questionnaires from the target audience. Researchers analyzed the data through SPSS. 238 response sheets were analyzed based on which results have been drawn. Results showed that TL, TRL and DC significantly impact OA. The mediation of OC has also turned out to be significant. The present study holds various theoretical and practical implications. The study extends the literature regarding OA through the TL, TRL and DC. Importance of OC can also be acknowledged by the policy makers or managerial bodies of US biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms. Research limitations and future research indications have also been presented in the research.
