Future Directions in Bioethics Education: Strategies to Foster Moral Competence and Critical Thinking in Nursing Students

The purpose of this study is to take a look at the future directions in bioethics education and examine the strategies to foster critical thinking and moral competence among nursing students. This study is conducted in the context of Canada. This study seeks to analyze the impact of professional training, encouragement and ethical education on moral competency and critical thinking. The study has utilized a quantitative research method, and data is collected by adopting a survey strategy. The target audience of the study is the nursing students who are currently enrolled in the nursing schools in Canada. The findings of the study have revealed that ethical education, professional training, and encouragement have a significant impact on moral competency and critical thinking. The study adds to the body of knowledge and offers practical implications. Moreover, the study also provides limitations and suggests future research directions.
