This study assessed the impact of public sports programs on national health by analyzing participant experiences, motivations, and perceived benefits. These programs are integral to national health strategies, enhancing physical activity and mental well-being. Participants highlighted significant benefits such as improved social interactions, which help reduce social isolation and boost mental health. Common testimonials like "meeting new people" emphasized the community-building effect of these initiatives. Additionally, participants noted increases in physical fitness, aligning with national health objectives focused on enhancing physical well-being. Statements such as "feel stronger" indicated personal health improvements due to regular participation in these structured sports activities. The structured environments of these programs also encouraged consistent exercise engagement, which is crucial for long-term health benefits. Motivations for participation were primarily driven by desires to improve physical fitness and overall well-being, contributing to a more active society. Furthermore, the social connectivity offered by these programs also emerged as a key motivational factor, addressing the growing public health issue of social isolation. Overall, the findings suggest that public sports programs effectively promote physical and mental health, supporting national health objectives through fitness improvements and social engagement.
