Abstract

This research has been conducted to analyze the impact of moral competency and moral distress on ethical orientation. For this purpose, the researcher has also taken into account the mediation of specific issues in bioethical education has been considered along with the moderation of ethical qualification. Questionnaire strategy was used to collect data from the respondents. Data has been analyzed through smart-PLS. Results indicated that moral competency and moral distress significantly influences ethical orientation. Mediation of ethical education issues has been resulted to be insignificant, whereas moderation also exhibited a fluctuating result. This research extends the growing literature regarding bio-medical research. The effective insights can be provided by this research regarding the importance of moral distress and moral competencies in driving ethical orientation. Research limitations and future indications have also been provided in this study.
