Abstract:

The present research was conducted to assess the focus on the effectiveness of knowledge transference and the green innovation on the growth of biotechnology firms. The researcher has also assessed the mediation of inspirational leadership and the bio-entrepreneurial capacity. This research was conducted following a quantitative research method. Questionnaires were disbursed followed by the survey research strategy to assess the hypothesized association among variables. The researcher analyzed the data through SPSS and AMOS. Results indicated that GI significantly impacts the bio-technology firm’s growth, whereas the knowledge transference insignificantly impacts the firm’s growth. Mediation of IL between FG and GI was resulted to be insignificant, whereas the mediation of BEC between KT, GI and FG was resulted to be significant. Mediation of IL between KT and FG also turned out to be significant. The present study holds numerous theoretical and practical implications as the study extends the literature regarding growth of bio-technology firms. Practical insights can be gained by the HRM department of these firms through this study, which depicts green innovation as a significant predictor of FG. Research shortcomings and future indications have also been presented in the last section.
