The Role of Big Data in Transforming Bioinformatics

Abstract:

With the continuous progress of biological data processing technology, the types of data are more and more, the content is more and more complex, bioinformatics has entered the era of "big data". Facing the characteristics of multi-modal, multi-level, high-dimensional and non-linear in the background of big data, how to efficiently reconstruct the research and application of bioinformatics is an urgent problem in the field of bioinformatics. This paper reviews and discusses the bioinformatics research in the big data environment from the aspects of data reconstruction, method reconstruction and system reconstruction.
