Abstract:
The present research aims to analyze the biotechnology adoption regulation through innovation capabilities, teacher’s biotechnology knowledge and the attitudes towards biotechnology. The mediation of biotechnology ethics has also been observed in this regard. Through the application of ‘quantitative research design’ the cause-and-effect relationship among variables was analyzed. The data was collected through questionnaire disbursement. Analyzing the data through SPSS and AMOS, the results demonstrated an insignificant direct association between IC, TBK, ATB and BA. Mediation of Biotechnology ethics have also been resulted to be insignificant. This study provides extension to the growing body of literature regarding regulations of biotechnology adoption. Moreover, the importance of biotechnology ethics has also been highlighted in this study providing valuable practical implications. The research limitations and future research indications have also been covered in the paper to enhance its generalizability.
